Rutgers Research Keynote: Slide Deck Design for Mike Sodini

We worked with Mike Sodini, founder of Walk the Talk America, to prepare his keynote presentation for Rutgers University’s event for the research community. We created a slide deck that talked about sensitive topics and complex information about firearms, mental health, and suicide prevention. By applying strong text hierarchy, focused messaging, and a consistent design style, we ensured his key points were easy to follow and left a lasting impression.

Our role extended beyond design. We also shaped the narrative flow of the deck so that it built a bridge between the firearms industry and public health researchers. The final product gave Mike a professional presentation emphasizing collaboration, reducing stigma, and highlighting pathways to reduce negative outcomes from firearms.
