A fun and approachable logo and podcast cover for Walk the Talk America

Walk the Talk America launched the “Guns & Mental Health” podcast as part of their mission to bridge the gap between mental health and safe firearms ownership. Going into the project, they were unsure of the direction they wanted to go with a logo, but wanted it to match the tone of the show.

The final result is a logo and podcast cover that is friendly and approachable. We used the existing WTTA green and a new navy color to distinguish the podcast from WTTA’s other offerings. The ampersand in the title matches the mental health awareness ribbon in WTTA’s core logo, but is folded into an “&” shape.

For the podcast cover art, we used vector illustrations of the podcast hosts. This helps make the podcast more approachable for a new audience by showing the faces behind the podcast.
